The Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Technical Analyst to join our Analyst team. In this role, you’ll be supporting the technical delivery of client and business-related projects. You’ll require excellent prioritisation, an analytical mindset and strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.  An ambition to increase your technical awareness and bring energy and positivity to the team is essential.  

Key responsibilities will be: 

  • Software visualisation: Working across the Analyst, Product and Development teams to transfer client requirements into user interface design mock ups 

  • Data Analysis: Analysing, configuring and cleansing data sets 

  • Testing: Completing testing of our Reinsurance software product and recording the results in a report 

  • Documentation: Compiling reports and documentation 

  • Reporting: Building reports to gather and analyse data 

  • DevOps: Optimising DevOps to review task requirements and prioritise work 

     

Training on the above will be provided.   

About You

Ideally, you’ll have previous experience within an administrative role where you will have developed your admin and numerical analysis skills.  You will have strong Excel skills specifically developing formulas and analytical tools.  Your ability to pick up technical information quickly will be strong.   

Alongside that experience, you will:  

  • Be an excellent communicator 

  • Have great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities 

  • Be flexible, adaptable and proactive 

  • Be great at organisation and time management 

  • Have the initiative to self-direct and problem solve whilst liaising closely with various teams 

  • Be keen to learn from and develop with us   

Educational Requirements

Degree in Business Management/Economics/Statistics preferred (or equivalent)   

  • At least 3 A-Levels (or equivalent) and 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) A-C – 2 of which must be English and Maths
